I. The Twentieth Century Imports Battletech Model Kit (along with the mechs in each set)

Battletech model Set 1: Shadowhawk & Scorpion

According to the scenario fluff and one extract from "Jane's Book of 'Mechs," the Scorpion has a large crew compartment, allowing a crew of three to operate it in shifts around the clock. They'd create Wolf Packs, small assault groups with swift tanks that would take out smaller opponent 'Mechs.

The HNT-3R Hunter tank mentioned in this scenario is distinct from both the Battledroids vehicle of the same name and the original 35-ton tracked Hunter tank presented in CityTech and the Technical Readout: 3026. It's a 20-ton wheeled vehicle with a fusion engine, an 8/12 mobility profile, no turret, a front-mounted PPC, and 5 tons of armor spread out 32 (front), 17 (each side), and 14 (rear) (back).

Battletech model Set 2:  Griffin & Locust

Scenario: On the way back from a deep raid mission, members of the 7th Crucis Lancers attack recently discovered BattleMech supply depots on Holloway V in Draconis Combine space. With time running out and reinforcements on the way, Crucis Lancers captain Tsurami and her Griffin must destroy a command bunker that controls the depots' fixed fortifications. Three gun turrets and a Locust from the Holloway Defense Militia #012 defend the bunker.

Battletech model Set 3: Battletech Thunderbolt build & Battlemaster

Scenario: In the face of unexpected enemy naval assets, a House Marik raid on New London has failed, with an Overlord-class DropShip being destroyed just as it was dropping its 'Mechs. Major McFarlen's BattleMaster was the only one to escape the DropShip's explosion, and the damaged attack 'Mech now needs to battle its way past an enemy Thunderbolt (MWO Thunderbolt builds in the set) in order to reach the evacuation DropShip Anarchist.

Battletech model Set 4:  Wolverine & Goliath

battletech-model-kit

Scenario: Tomec Tyrkson II, the pirate king, has landed on New Texas, a tiny planet on the Lyran Commonwealth's outer boundary, with a strong force for a protracted raid. Garrison Captain David "Bullseye" Crockett withdrew his lesser army to the Alamo Forest to use guerilla tactics against the bigger pirate force. Crockett had to battle off pirate Lt. Morgan's Goliath in his Wolverine during the withdrawal (the latter's PPC delivering five additional heat points when fired). The scenario features the same quadrupedal 'Mech special rules as Set #1.

Battletech model Set 5: Crusader & Archer

battletech-model-kit

Scenario: Downed aerospace fighter pilot Ridley from Redjack Ryan's troops watches a House Steiner retaliatory attack unfold near Ryan's field HQ in the Sahara II desert on Butte Hold. The Crusader-D of Angus Ryan, a cousin of Redjack Ryan, is destroyed by a Steiner Archer known as the Green Knight, who is then shot down by the Crusader's final missile. Angus Ryan is murdered, but the fate of the Green Knight is unknown; she may have survived. Ridley chooses to slip away and return to base when more Steiner 'Mechs emerge (which he might reach in a few weeks).

(The scenario's epigraph refers to "Sahara II," while the narrative clearly states that it is placed on the planet Butte Hold.)

Battletech model Set 6: Rifleman & Warhammer

Scenario: Ben Slayton, a MechWarrior, has successfully combat-dropped into New Eden City in his Warhammer, catching the defenders off guard and disorganized. He pursues a Rifleman (MechWarrior DeGreve) into the surrounding marshes, only to discover that he has been tricked into perilous terrain, complete with 'quicksand' mudholes that are difficult to distinguish. DeGreve has a good idea of where they are thanks to previous practice movements, and he'll be able to trap the Warhammer and administer a lethal heatshot.

(The universe in which this scene takes place isn't specified; the epigraph alludes to "New Eden," which might be the name of the planet or merely the name of the city.)

Battletech model Set 7: Marauder & Ostroc Mk II

Scenario: The planet Brittany III of the Federated Suns is being attacked by House Kurita. During his counterassault, Duke Henry V of Brittany III describes how he fought a modified enemy Ostroc described as an Ostroc Mk II (one MechWarrior DeMici) and drove the assailants away.

Battletech model Set 8: Wasp & Wasp L.A.M

Scenario: Sharon Dorsee of the 4th Proserpina Hussars detects a 55-ton Mech in the suburbs of Petersburg near the capital of Delos City while on a reconnaissance flight in her Wasp LAM and goes into a fight in 'Mech mode.

The scenario is said to take place on Delos VI, a Steiner world on the Kurita boundary where hundreds of damaged BattleMechs offer salvage. The defense in the scenario can choose any 55-ton 'Mech, however, according to the narrative, it was a Wolverine.

Battletech model Set 9: Stinger & Stinger LAM

Scenario: House Marik attempted to implant operatives into the military of the other Houses in the early 3020s as part of Operation Leech, but it was only (marginally) successful with House Steiner. A deceitful officer drops Steiner Lt. Fingle in a Stinger too far away from his designated drop zone in the arctic area during an attack on Megres V. The corrosive ocean isn't frozen, and wading through it is dangerous for the 'Mech. Fingle is stranded on a small island, with a Marik Phoenix Hawk waiting to murder him on a neighboring island.

Megres V might be Megrez from the Marik universe.

Battletech model Set 10: Phoenix Hawk & Phoenix Hawk LAM

Scenario: A LAM lance got trapped in a sandstorm during an ill-fated House Liao raid on Sirdar II, which blocked their intakes and pushed them down. The Stinger LAM of Captain Treat Maloney and the Phoenix Hawk LAM of Lt. Gerard ends up fighting a Davion Archer in the sand dunes.

The LAMs are unable to transition to aerospace mode and leave the battlefield due to special scenario restrictions (clogged intakes).

Battletech model Set 11: Wasp Aerospace Fighter & Phoenix Hawk Aerospace Fighter

Scenario: On Perkasie, the whole local 'Mech force has been dispatched to fight mercenaries from House Liao. Major Jay Hodge, a Marauder pilot, on the other hand, has snapped and marched out to raze a tiny town. In fighter mode, Sgt. Marie Hanley in a Phoenix Hawk LAM and Cpl. Cory Perinski in a Wasp LAM strives to disable Hodge's Marauder while minimizing damage to the town. Dr. Leopold Yarinley's book The Psychology of Today's MechWarrior, published at the Meistmorn Academy in 3021, cited the occurrence.

Set 11 is remarkable for using a map sheet from the CityTech boxed set in its scenario.

Battletech model Set 12: Leopard Class DropShip, Marauder, Crusader

Scenario: For a reconnaissance mission, Davion special forces—Colonel Masil in a Marauder and Major Haslan in a Crusader (-D variant)—have deployed to Kiyev III, deep in Marik space. They are discovered and withdrawn to their pickup zone, where their DropShip is scheduled to arrive and pick them up, only to be met by Marik troops consisting of a Thunderbolt, a Rifleman, and two Phoenix Hawks. The Davion Special Scout Task Force (SSTF) was uncovered in action for the first time, resulting in a public reaction against Hanse Davion.

Set 12 was the final and largest set, and it was the first to break away from the usual box style. The classic Crusher Joe Minerva ship (rebranded as the "B" variation of the normal Leopard DropShip) was included in this package, as well as two previously available BattleMechs, the Marauder and Crusader.
